The masking tape remains on the coating surface as it is, or the color separation line is zigzag, which exceeds the process standard.

Reason:

(1) The quality of the tape is poor.

(2) The covering process is not carried out seriously.

(3) Remove the tape or other covering before the paint film is dry.

Prevention:

(1) Use special tape for coating, and the tape should be heat-resistant in drying occasions.

(2) Cover it carefully according to the process requirements. In order to ensure that the color separation line has no serrations, tapes with neat edges and ends should be used.

(3) Remove the tape or other covering after the paint film is dry (at least the surface is dry).
